nagios silently stops

In my case nagios daemon died (sorry for that "stops") - there was no
nagios process ;(

I run nagios 2.1 on suse 10.0
./configure 
        --with-cgiurl=/nagios/cgi-bin 
        --with-htmurl=/nagios 
        --with-lockfile=/var/run/nagios.pid 
        --with-nagios-user=daemon 
        --with-nagios-group=daemon 
        --with-command-user=nobody 
        --with-command-grp=www 
        --prefix=/ 
        --exec-prefix=/sbin 
        --bindir=/sbin 
        --sbindir=/lib/nagios/cgi 
        --libexecdir=/lib/nagios/plugins 
        --datadir=/share/nagios 
        --sysconfdir=/etc/nagios 
        --with-init-dir=/etc/init.d 
        --localstatedir=/var/log/nagios 
        --with-gd-inc=/usr/include/gd 
        --with-perlcache

all was OK, until one branch gateway started flapping - nagios
beginned flapped too ;))
after flapping detection switched off all was OK again.
Now flapping is over, and i switched flapping detection on, hope
everything will ok.
