PHP interfaces for Nagios

I've always wanted an interface that would lie above Nagios and other
systems software, like Cacti for instance. The interface would, in the
case of monitoring servers, be an all-mighty inventory of your network
with a plugin architecture that would enable you to have hooks to
configure a host to be monitored by Nagios and graphed by Cacti with
simple clicks...
Anyone know if such a project exists?
