ndoutils problem, ndo2db: Error: mysql_query() failed

Hi,

I am running nagios 2.5.  I am trying to get nagios to use mysql
database through ndoutils-1.3.1.

I got the following error when I start nagios. 

 

Nov 16 12:17:10 linuxbox ndo2db: Error: mysql_query() failed for 'INSERT
INTO logentries SET instance_id='0',
logentry_time=FROM_UNIXTIME(1163697421),
entry_time=FROM_UNIXTIME(1163697421), entry_time_usec='729271',
logentry_type='262144', logentry_data='INITIAL SERVICE STATE:
router;PING;OK;HARD;1;PING OK - Packet loss = 0%, RTA = 6\.35 ms',
realtime_data='1', inferred_data_extracted='1''

 

I seem to have everything configured correctly and have tried use
mysql-5.0 as well as mysql-4.1.20 as I heard this works with nodutils.

I get the same error no matter what version of mysql I run.

Please advise,
