Idea for CHANGE_NOTIFICAION_TIMEPERIOD in Nagios 3

Hi List,
what do you think about a CHANGE_NOTIFICATION_TIMEPERIOD for Hosts,
Services and Contacts in Nagios 3?
I think it can be very useful for scripting for Notifications on
public-holidays.
 
What do you think about it and is it possible?
