Where are the developers?

Hi,
it's kind of difficult to be online all the day and watch who's chatting
on IRC. Some companies block the default 6667 Port and being in IRC is
not kind of "liked".
From my point of view it's good for a little chit-chat about several
problems but not really something like Mail or Phone. mail is even
better for keeping the history - IRC logs are not that easy to grep and
the language is kind of "different" when you are writing an email.
On #icinga and #icinga-devel it's quite the same for what I can tell.
But in any case, IRC will be a short stop by maybe helping out with
problems but not really developers talk. The Mailinglist is better, but
I prefer nagios-portal.org even more with a wide variety of options to
talk and discuss. Wondering why there's no pendant in English for Nagios.
Considering the fact of helping out - you (and everyone else) are very
welcome to contact me directly in case of Icinga. Mostly preferred
Postgres knowledge concerning insert/update queries at this time ;-)
Kind regards,
Michael
