I too would like to have a 3.0.x stable. I have very limited time these
days and any update and if I need to update I will take the quickest
possible path - usually just install the new source in-place and restart
nagios.
When I realized there will be no more 3.0.x releases I started my own
branch. Unfortunately I haven't had time to backport anything but my own
patches so far, and the prospective of doing any backporting in the
coming weeks are very slim (and for that reason I haven't announced it yet).
OTOH if anyone has good candidates for cherry-picking from master or has
any patches to apply please send them my way.
My nagios-3.0.x-bugfixes bannch lives here:
http://repo.or.cz/w/nagios/dermoth.git
Which is a fork of http://repo.or.cz/w/nagios.git, is a pristine copy of
the current CVS repository.
