My thoughts was:

1. SQLLite (if people want it, not me...) can be implemented with ndomod
on the Nagios side. For PHP, we'd need modular DATA and DB backends as well.

2. The idea of CDP is as a drop-in replacement for status.dat. No
event-broker, no ndomod, just a simple built-in ultra-fast data format.
