True spoken - I wouldn't like to have this patch as an replacement of
the current "set downtime only for host" but as an additional
solution, so the user can decide what they want to do and the user is
responsible for his doing.
Mass removements like this are really annoying - we are dealing with
servicegroup wide downtimes with 500+ services. ;(
Another idea might be to get "available" commands configured by the
cgi.cfg and the CGIs might only show menus / allow only commands in
that whitelist?
Up to now this would be more work for less benefit...
