Help with NET::SNMP

I loaded net-snmp-5.0.1 and i keep getting this error.  

Can't locate object method "session" via package "Net::SNMP"(perhaps you
forgot to load "net::SNMP"?) at /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_ifstatus
line 128.


i was reading some of the other NetSNMP messages from earlier and i still
don't get it.

any help would be great.  I lost a T1 last night and did not know it,  ohhh,
my boss is mad......
