extended info config on nagios 6

The extended info configs don't come with the sample configs.You need to
create them yourself and add the following to your cgi.cfg:
xedtemplate_config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/hostextinfo.cfg
xedtemplate_config_file=/usr/local/nagios/etc/serviceextinfo.cfg
