I'm monitoring about 1400 switches and routers (ping & snmp service checks,
and dummy - echo "OK" - host check) on a 400mhz Netra T1, 256MB RAM w/
Debian Sparc Linux. Load is typically around 1. It's held up nicely
through several major outages.
