my version of check_snmp is:
check_snmp (nagios-plugins 1.3.0-alpha1) 1.1.1.1
almost the same problem. (I get a Warning instead of Critical.)
My return code when run by hand is 0 (zero) and I also get a SMTP OK.
weird. why would nagios interpret it as something else?
