Off topic question - how to change domain name in sendmail.

if you are useing sendmail and want to change the sender address for the
whole domain,
then you should have a look at the m4 macro MASQUERADE_DOMAIN (I think --
the bat book is at home...)

If you just want to change the sender address of some users, then (I
think...bat book at home) you have to enable the genericstable feature and a
create a genericstable for the relevant users.
