Changing sensitivity for Notifications

Simple question (I Hope..)

I'm having problems making the sensitivity for notifications -less-
sensitive.  I'd like nagios to notify me on particular machines only if they
are down for say .. 15 minutes.  How would I go about doing this?  Any help
would be much appreciated.
