using SNMP to fetch printer information

Yes,

I am trying the following command and "snmpget" is located in /usr/local/bin.

[root at gw libexec]# ./check_hpjd -H <ip_address> -C community
Timeout: No response from <ip_address>

SNMP is configured on this printer and I do not see any SNMP packets to/from either machine.
