trends.cgi broken

Hi all

1st off ....a very nice product this.

well here is my problem

i have the following error in my apache error log

[Mon Sep 30 14:47:12 2002] [error] [client 172.17.15.222] Premature end of
script headers: /usr/local/nagios/sbin/histogram.cgi
ld.so.1: trends.cgi: fatal: libpng.so.2: open failed: No such file or
directory

background

Solaris 8
all up to date versions of gcc, libpng, etc.

compile goes thru fine and everything else looks fine. rest of nagios runs
like a dream.

any ideas/hints ...will be great ...
