i would agree but the time doesn't make sense.
 
If what you are suggesting were true then a service check runs and fails,
but before it logs the result a check is run on the host and it returns a
failure and reports it.
 
gee, i sure hope this isn't how it works.  
 
i am quite dumbfounded though.

But more seriously, couldnt this be an internal buffering issue whithin the
core process that simply prints the out put in the wrong order?

why in the world is the service for testserver01.tcdsb.org being checked
after the host has been determined down?
also why is the host being checked before the service??
