Tom:

It happens with the default service notification command, that comes with
the config samples.

Anyway, there it goes...

define command{
        command_name    notify-by-email
        command_line    /usr/bin/printf "%b" "***** OpMon
*****\n\nNotificationType: $NOTIFICATIONTYPE$\n\nService:
$SERVICEDESC$\nHost: $HOSTALIAS$\nAddress:$HOSTADDRESS$\nState:
$SERVICESTATE$\n\nDate/Time: $DATETIME$\n\nAdditional Info
:\n\n$OUTPUT$" | /bin/mail -s "** OpMon Alert - $NOTIFICATIONTYPE$ -
$HOSTALIAS$/$SERVICEDESC$ is $SERVICESTATE$ **" $CONTACTEMAIL$
        }

I hope that you have a solution.

Sandro Vaz

Could you post your notification commands? What happens is that your email
gets chopped at the backslash that is next to the C:. Probably bad usage of
quotes.
