Port to Cgywin

First off, please don't flame me.
I know Windows isn't everybodies kettle of fish, but I work for a MS house so I have to use it.

I'm not asking for support on this I was just wondering if the programmers out there culd answer this question:

Is there any reason why Nagios shouldn't compile on Cgywin running on a windows platform?
