I'm sure i'm only thinking of it because of the recent patch to
check_tcp, but I wonder if this could be the same sort of deal - the
device is through sending but has not informed the client, or at least
not in a way that check_http understands.
It doesn't help that the length is unspecified.
Sound plausible?
I wonder if runnig tcpdump or ethereal while making the request would
provide useful data? Maybe log the connection once for wget and a second
time for for check_http?
Since I know zip about this ILO thingie, I'm not coming up with alot of
other ideas.
