NSClient SERVICESTATE question

Hi,
I am having problems with this and somewhat confused. If I use the
command
./check_nt -H xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -v PROCSTATE -l grpwise.exe
to check the grpwise.exe process, it responds with "All Processes are
running". But if I use the command like this
./check_nt -H xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -v SERVICESTATE -l grpwise.exe
it returns "grpwise.exe: Unknown". I thought the PROCSTATE and
SERVICESTATE were basically the same command. Is there any major
difference between the two? Are the results different?
Running Nagios 1.0 with NSClient 1.0.8.4 and have been working on this
for a couple of days and finally gave up and decided to ask.
Thanks
Leonard
