FAQ and empty status.log

I was trying to look at the FAQ to see if my problem was in there, but
the FAQ seems to be empty now. Anyone know what happened?
Also, has anyone had the behavior and when Nagios starts, the status.log
is empty and never gets written to? I've checked all my paths in
nagios.log, and they are correct. This instance is set up to only
accept passive checks and not actively check anything. Any ideas?
