Nagios statusmap

Thanks for the link. I tried recompiling gd with --disable-shared and
also recompiled jpeg-6b. I deleted the 3 shared libraries in
/usr/local/lib listed in the FAQ. The configuration summary for gd is
as follows...

** Configuration summary for gd 2.0.15:

   Support for PNG library: yes
   Support for JPEG library: yes
Support for Freetype 2.x library: no
   Support for Xpm library: no

I'm not sure if you need Freetype and Xpm installed?? gd installs okay,
but Nagios is failing with a different error this time...

/usr/local/lib/libgd.a(gd_jpeg.o)(.text+0x935): In function
`jpeg_gdIOCtx_src':
/usr/local/src/gd-2.0.15/gd_jpeg.c:715: undefined reference to
`jpeg_resync_to_restart'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [statusmap.cgi] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/nagios-1.1/cgi'
make: *** [all] Error 2

Any idea's what this means?

Thanks,
Chris
