Read the Nagios documentation. http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/1_0/xodtemplate.html#command
Anyway it's the check commands file, /pathtonagios/etc/checkcommands.cfg

Subject: [Nagios-users] Error in hosts.cfg with check_command host-alive
Hi,
In the hosts.cfg file you can use the check_command host-alive . I get the error: Host Check command 'host-alive' specified for host *** is not defined anywhere.
Were can is specify this command?
Many thanks,
Wim
