Any way to notify of an existing failure when time period becomes active?

Hello,
Is there any way to be notified of any/all current failures when a
notification time period becomes active?
Scenario:
I have 24x7 services checks on multiple hosts. I have only one contact
person established and the notification period for that contact is
"waking hours".
What I want is to be notified, when I wake up, of any current failures
that were first noted during the night. I don't want to have to log in
to check on the status of things. I have the notification_interval set
to 0 since I don't want multiple pages for the same problem.
Any thoughts?
