For my part, I wish to apologize to the community. I unintentionally 
started that thread with a simple, short suggestion (made as an aside 
to another post) that people a) trim their posts, and b) avoid 
top-posting when it makes a thread harder to follow. A troll responded, 
and I fed the troll (who subsequently engaged in a flame war with 
another poster). Mea culpa. Je regrette. Vergeben sie, bitte?
