MRTGEXT.nlm on Netware 6.5 abending

We have been using mrtgext.nlm v1.43 agent on many netware 5x servers
successfully
until we started to upgrade to 6.5, mrtgext.nlm now abends the server
(mrtgext.nlm itself
crashes). Looks like somebody else reported the same problem at mrtgext
development
site but no anwsers/fixes have been posted.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem? or any ideas on this?
