Emailing comments/downtime/etc.

I dont remember reading anything about this in the archives or 
documentation, but is it possible to have email sent out to contacts 
for a host when a comment is made to that host, downtime is scheduled, 
etc.?  Id like to have admins make changes, fixes, etc. and have the 
solution emailed out to the contacts instead of or in addition to the 
recovery email. Any ideas? Im currently running Nagios 1.2, but setting 
up 2.0a1 soon.
