difference between check_by_ssh / check_nrpe

I don't think, that check_by_ssh needs a daemon on the target system,
but I think check_by_ssh has a bigger overhead, because it has to
transfer the hole check skript every time you perform a check.
Maybe you should have a look at the push_check.sh Plugin. It kind of
combines the check_nrpe and check_by_ssh plugin. You don't need a Daemon
on the target system to run, only a preshared key.
