check_by_ssh question

Does anyone out there use indirect checks with check_by_ssh? or even
nrpe? Can anyone provide a working example? I have found some
information through google but none seem completely correct and have
issues with their implementation. I've read over the indirect checks
section of the nagios documentation a couple of times, however, it is
just too abstract.

Perhaps Ethan, Karl, or one of the other developers could provide an
example of how they would implement what is described in the indirect
checks section of the documentation? Please?
