Modifications made via the web interface are transient and are _not_
written to the config files. If you have state_retention enabled then
that's likely your 'problem'. Please see the 'Retention Notes' section
of http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/1_0/xodtemplate.html. Also, please
try to post to the list using plain-text as opposed to HTML formatted
mail if you can. It allows for better response formatting and more
people can read it.

Yes, I have
notifications_enabled 1
in both files, hosts.cfg and services.cfg
but when I enable or disable notifications trough the web interface, the
line "notifications_enabled" in the files hosts.cfg or services.cfg does
not change.
That's my cuestion if this values are not stored in those files, where
are they stored.
