Who is using Nagios 2.0?

Just a thought, but wouldn't it be nice, when nagios would do it
automatically everytime it starts/restarts? 
Maybe copying the hole runtime cfg in the ram or in a temporay file?
I'm not a programmer, so I don't know if this is possible... But i like
the idea ... Would be a nice new feature for 2.0a2 or so :)
