NRPE scripts

Does anyone have (or know of) a set of scripts to use on a box running NRPE-NT (away from Nagios server, and through firewall) to monitor several other boxes near it on a network?

I'm looking for things like what I might normally be able to do with NSClient (which I'm not sure I can get to work with our setup).  Testing continues.
