alerts not reaching me

Sounds like you're just getting to know Unix terminology as well...


To run a check "as the nagios user",
login using nagios username
  -or-
su nagios 

then run:
/usr/local/magios/libexec/check_http (paramaeters)

The parameters are located in checkcommands.cfg and services.cfg

Which configuration file do ou want me to send? And how do I run
cheeck under the user nagios?
Pradon me for these quesitons but I am still not getting hang of
nagios terminology.
