Yup.

Read the manual.
Especially th sections where it talks about authentication with the web 
server and probably the comments in the supplied nagios.cfg file. For 
me, it was very informative.

If you did and couldn't understand, I'm sure that the developers will 
gladly accept suggestions on how to improve the manual.
