false "Host UP" notifications

This problem seemed to go away when I switched from 2.0b4 -> 2.0b6,
but it's rearing it's head again. I'm wondering
if this is some type of a flapping issue. I've tried tunning on & off
aggressive host & service checking. As far as
I can recall, it's only happening on host checks, not service checks.
The notifications look like this:
