No. The examples are there, to give a base to understand the whole 
thing. Print it out. Read it carefully. Check the docu. UNDERSTAND it. 
Customize it. Install it. Run Nagios.

Get up Nagios working can take some time. Take some time and don't do in 
a rush. That makes no sense. Nagios is esayly understandable, if you 
take yourself some time.
