Enable external commands in nagios.cfg, specify how often to check and
the path to the external command file.

You'll need to have something execute the plugin and send the results to
nsca via send_nsca like cron+wrapper script. Most often there is another
instance of nagios running on the remote machine when using nsca. You
probably want to look at NRPE or check-by-ssh which sound like they
might better suit your needs. If you want to continue with NSCA, the
Distributed Monitoring section of the documentation is an excellent
resource.
