Hi there!

I lost the hard drive in the monitoring server in one of my sites, and I
took the opportunity to rebuild it on Fedora Core 3 with Nagios 2.02b.

There were a few minor hiccups, but after a little while I managed to find
and correct the config differences, install the plugins, and away I went.

Everything seemed to just work brilliantly, except that I now get
"check_http: Invalid option - SSL is not available" as a status for my
checking of my SSL enabled website.

I found an earlier post that suggested I needed to compile with a
--with-openssl switch, so I went ahead and did this. Wiped my Nagios and
recompiled it. This gave me no joy, so I thought I that maybe they meant I
should recompile my nagios-plugins with openssl. Doing this also gave me no
joy.

Running it from the command line gives the same response.

What do I need to do with nagios 2.02 and nagios-plugins 1.41 to make this
go?

I am sure it is something obvious and stupid I have overlooked.

Thanks!!

Nemir
