Monitoring log files.

There's a check_log program that can do it. I've found it easier to use
something separate from Nagios for log stuff. But check check_log out
it might do exactly what you need it to. You can download it with the
nagios-plugins version 1.4 package.

Is there a way to monitor the log files with Nagios to check for heck
attempts in to the system? I.E. the messages log file? If so can some
one
help in setting this up?
