rotating nagios logs

Hello list,

A few weeks ago I asked why the nagios-1.3 that comes with Debian Sarge
is not rotating its logs, although the logrotate variable is set to
daily:

log_rotation_method=d

I got no answer, so does anyone here have the same problems? I'd like to
find out if it's a Debian issue or not.
