running admin-defined commands from vendor snmpd's vs net-snmp

It appears that net-snmp's snmp daemon(s) support running admin-defined
external commands in a variety of programming languages.

Do vendor snmpd's do this as well?

We're particularly interested in Linux, Solaris, IRIX, AIX and Tru64.
