Hi,

A new version has been released with quite a lot of new things and a few
important fixes and compatibility issues.
So lets run down the main change log.

Added:
* Multitasking support for requests.
  This allows you to runt multiple checks simultaneously.
* NRPE support for checkCounter
  You can now check counters using NRPE, but I noticed that its sort of
broken so don't expect much yet. But simple checks can be done.
* CheckHelpers module to alter the result of various check and similar
things
  Can be used to later the return state, not that usefull really but
somone requested it so I thought why not.
* Support for Volumes (CheckDisk)
  CheckDisk can check volumes (drives mounted as directories)
* Support for checking all drives
  You can now run one check to check all fixed, removable or what not
drives in one go.
  Nice if you want a standard check on all fixed drives on all your systems.
* Support for altering filter (makes it possible to check
removable/network drives)
  Now you can alter the mask on what kind of drives can be checked so if
you wnat to check your floppy nows you chance.
* Webpage and better documentation
  http://nscplus.sf.net
* Obfuscated password support (try NSClient++ /encrypt)
  If you don't want to store the password in clear text you can now
obfuscate it *notice* this is not encryption so anyone with the INI file
can still read your password but it is a bit harder to just glance the
password.
* Central host/password options in INI file (look for [Settings])
  Might simplify for people using both NRPE and NSClient as you can now
specify all allowed hosts in one go.

Enhances/Fixes:
* Some threading issues fixed
  As always threading sucks :)
* Verified NT4 compatibility
  NT4 now works (at least in my lab)
* Fixed bug in NSC.ini (section title for Check System was wrong)
  Some (important) typos in the INI file.
* Fixed some minor issues here and there
* Make check commands ignore case
  checkDisk and ChEcKdIsk is now the same.
* Better debugging log (timestamps, better info, etc)
  Now it (if debug is enabled) prints incoming and outgoing data.
  It also logs thing using a timestamps.
* Support for password-less NSClient
  Fixed so if you leave out the password and the -s switch check_nt
still works.

This time you will find the binary as well as documenation and such at:
http://nscplus.sf.net

As always: questions, bugs, ideas, etc, feel free to email me...
