Hi Rick,
yes there is a way ;)
I'm not sure, if it's new in 2.0 (haven't testet it with 1.2) but you can simply make an entry like this
Hostgroup_name all
Host_name !xyz
-> Just use an "!" to exclude the host/hostgroup
Regards,
Philipp

Betreff: [Nagios-users] exclude host in services.cfg??
Hi all,
Is there a way to exclude a host in a service, when you create a service for a template?
For example, I'd like to monitor /var for all hosts in the hostgroup, except for one host in that hostgroup, but I don't want to remove that host from the hostgroup? Is their any way I can put this in my services.cfg or something like that?
Regards
Rick
