check_dns plugin error

Hi there - I have been searching the list archives and have not found
a definitive answer....

I have a nagios server, and I have a host and service defined to
check our dns using the check_dns command. Now I need to pass it the
--hostname option since this DNS server would need to check a domain
it is authoritative for (recursive queries, etc).

So in my service definition, I have

check_command check_dns! --hostname=www.domain.com

Did i get the formatting wrong?

And as it stands now, the result is:

"DNS CRITICAL - '/usr/bin/nslookup -sil' output parsing exited with
no address "

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Dustin
