I think so....
I did
nagios ALL=NOPASSWD:/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe_radio
check_nrpe_radio is the same as check_nrpe. I've just changed the name to
organize the things.

Umm, sudo will work fine, if you set it up for passwordless commands and you
put the sudo command into your config file. You did that, right?

Subject: [Nagios-users] NRPE issue
Hi all!!!
I have a costumer that has many access points to be monitored using ping.
They're on the same network segment that my server is.
I've checked that the check_icmp command works on remote server (the one
that is in the costumer). But when I run the command on Nagios server to
check NRPE result, I receive the following message:
Root access needed (for raw sockets)
I've tried already to insert the command on the sudoers file to giving the
root permission to user nagios run the proper command. but.. nothing has
changed.
If somebody has passed to the same problem. please.give me a hint about how
to solve that.
Tks a lot
Regards
Fabiano Martins
