You mean i have to install the radius on the nagios machine also?, our 
radius is another separate machine for authenticating dialup users.

radius stop authentication sometimes thats why I want to monitor is 
through nagios.
So i will appreciate any help in this regards

I also tried a "radauth" that i found on http://www.nagiosexchange.org 
with no luck ,

./radauth -r xx.xx.xx.xx -s secret -u user -p password -t 10
