Installing NRPE

It sounds like another process is using the port. try looking for the port 
in /etc/services. or execute netstat -na and see if its in use.

[Nagios-users] Installing NRPE






Dear list 

I have installed NRPE.  Whenever I try and run the deamon though the 
init.d script I get 

Apr  5 13:47:21 Gollum nrpe[990]: Starting up daemon
Apr  5 13:47:21 Gollum nrpe[990]: Network server bind failure (98: Address 
already in use).

Can some one point me in  the right in resolving this issue.
