For instruction on your mib file you need to read the net-snmp manual. But
in general dumping it in the right directory will do nicely.
With Nagios you can use the OID as number (for which you do not need mib
files anyway) or by name.
Verify with a tool like snmpwalk you can access the proper snmp sections
on your hosts.
