status map dispositions

Hi this is my fist time in this mailing list.
i write from italy so excuse my english.
I have a problem with nagios, i configured for each host a "parents" for
branch the network.
But in my status map i have a great confusion. the hosts are put it by
alphabetic name, and not in the way i order them.
I tried different layout method, ma nothing to do.
some body can help me?
